Nancy Schnur, ASID
Nancy is currently working at Wayne Parker, Partners in Design where she focuses on both residential and hospitality design projects. Her experience prior to working in the interior design profession includes 20 years in the field of visual merchandising both at major retail firms and as a sole proprietor of two small businesses, Visual Inspirations Hawaii and Island Mannequin Repair. She has a BFA in Interior Design from Chaminade University and spent three years on the education committee of the Institute of Store Planners.

Martha Stephens
Martha Stephens is located on the Big Island of Hawaii. After acquiring a BS in Interior Design from San Jose State University in 1985, Martha Stephens worked for two design firms and a contracting firm before starting her own business in San Jose California in 1991.
Martha passed the NCIDQ exam acquiring Professional ASID status soon after beginning her business in 1992. She began projects on the Islands in 2000 and became a permanent Hawaii resident in 2004.
Martha’s design education includes a heavy emphasis on architectural design and space planning, particularly commercial space planning, as well as color and lighting.
Some of Martha’s contributions have included sitting on the board of the Peninsula Chapter of ASID, sitting on the board of the Silicon Valley National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and she was a delegate to the White House Conference on Small Business in 1995.

Valorie Spence, Allied Member ASID
After three years studying architecture, Valorie made the switch to Interior Design work learning Auto-CAD and 20-20 kitchen design software. In 1999, she formed Interior Design Solutions. Now as an award winning lead designer for her firm she works with many of the luxury hotels as well as home owners, builders, architects, and developers. Valorie recently completed the GREEN leaders Certified Sustainability Training to qualify as the only “Expert in Green Residential” in Hawaii.

Patti Bruce, Industry Partner
Patti Bruce came to the islands in 1986. She is a Hawaii Decorative Artist
with expertise in fine art murals, custom stenciling, faux finishes, gilding,
trompe l’oeil, texture finishes along with green functional furniture art. She
has over 18 years of experience in the commercial, hospitality, health care
and residential industry. She has collaborated with Hawaii’s top designers
and architects on numerous award winning projects and is the 2006 winner
of HGTV’s Designer’s Challenge. Patti had a hand painted children’s
furniture manufacturing business from 1992- 2003. Her children’s furniture
was featured in Neiman Marcus, Hualalai – The Four Seasons, Paradizzio
and other boutique stores throughout the state. Her furniture now resides in
homes across the globe from Japan to NY.
When not doing decorative art she spends her time painting the beautiful
landmarks and landscapes of the Hawaiian Islands. Her artwork has been
featured in numerous galleries around the state that include, Martin &
MacArthur, Island Treasures, Four Seasons Hualalai, Red Bamboo,
Jameson’s among other Hawaii showrooms and galleries.
Her other interests include the welfare of women and children in need. She
has tirelessly given her time to support organizations with fundraising,
donations, and coordinating and organizing enhancement projects for
shelters and centers dedicated to serving those in need.

Communications Director
Victoria B. Reventas
Victoria B. Reventas has been in the design industry for over 20 years. She is currently working on residential interiors as a sole proprietor. While at WATG in Honolulu, Victoria worked on numerous hospitality, residential, corporate and other projects around the world. Prior to moving to Hawaii, Victoria’s focus was on corporate and high-end residential interiors as a Senior Designer and Associate at Larson Associates Inc.
Victoria graduated with a BA in Interior Design from Columbia College Chicago. She is currently pursuing an MBA graduate degree at the University of Hawaii.
