2008 ASID Design Excellence Awards Call for Entries
ASID Design Excellence Award returns another year to recognize an ASID professional member who exemplifies a commitment to the profession as demonstrated by a significant, high quality body of work representing excellence in interior design. In addition, the nominee should show attention to social concerns within the interior design profession and express creative, innovative concepts that have advanced the profession.

2008 Community Service Awards Call For Nominations
The ASID Hawaii Chapter is seeking input and consideration for the 2007 Community Service Awards for the categories described below:
Historic Preservation
Presented to an individual or organization hat has been a significant contributor in this field.
Fred Harper Community Service Award
Presented to a Hawaii Chapter Industry Partner member for outstanding efforts on behalf of the Industry Partners.
Cultural Achievement Award
Presented to an individual or organization that has contributed significantly to the advancement of its arts in the community.
Media Award
Presented to an individual or publication or organization that has furthered public awareness and education regarding interior design.
Education Award
Presented to an individual or organization that has contributed significantly to education in the interior design profession.
Perpetual Award for Promotion and Advancement of Interior Design, dedicated to Vance Borland
Presented to an individual or organization that has contributed significantly to the promotion and advancement of interior design.
Nominations must be accompanied by information or documentation regarding the suitability of the nomination for a specific award category.
